3 nights Accommodation, Meals and Tours - $440 pp Twin Share

Depart Thursday morning in time to arrive Chillagoe for the 10:30 Outer Town Tour
Drive time is approximately 2.5 hours from CAIRNS & 2 hours from MAREEBA
Allow extra time to stop along the way to take note of places you wish to visit on the return trip.

Excepting pre arranged Tours & Meals, the following suggested itinerary is at your discretion:-

THURSDAY the day of departure you head off for Chillagoe allowing enough time to arrive by 10:30am
At 10:30am a bus will arrive out front of the Guesthouse to take you on the "Outer Town Tour" visiting Balancing Rock, Mungana Caves, Marble Mine & Cemetery.
The tour returns approx 12:30pm & afternoon will be spent at your leisure and we suggest a Town Walk.
Your evening meal will be from 6 to 7:30pm at the Eco Lodge Licensed Restaurant on Hospital Avenue.
After dinner, the Eco Lodge offers a Star Gazing Experience at a cost of $15/adult, $8.50/child and participation is optional and depending on cloud conditions.

FRIDAY your first Cave Tour is the Donna Cave, this is Park Ranger guided and informative. You need to be assembled at the cave car park by 8:45am, setting off at 9:00am for a duration of approx 1hour. The second Cave you will explore today is the Trezkinn Cave and once again you need to assemble at the cave car park by 10:45, setting off at 11:00am for a duration of approx 30-45 minutes.
We suggest that the afternoon is spent exploring the Smelter Ruins followed by a swim at the Local Bogey Hole on Weir Road.
Later, a leisurely walk to the Chillagoe Hotel Motel for your evening meal anytime between 6-8pm.

SATURDAY with an early start of say 9:00am grab the National Park Map and take a drive 32kms Westward to see the mighty Walsh River crossing which is impassable for up to 3 months each year.
When you are ready to return stop at "The Archways" which are near the old Mungana Township. (approx 14.5kms from the Walsh River)
This is a self guided tour, its free and ideal place to have a picnic.
After lunch your final Cave Tour is the Royal Arch Cave. You need to assemble at the cave car park by 1:15pm, setting off at 1:45pm for a duration of 1.5hours
Your evening meal will be at either the Hotel Motel or the Eco Lodge Restaurant.
The Meal Voucher will be valid at either venue.

SUNDAY your return journey commences with a checkout time of 10:00am (Late checkout can be arranged by calling housekeeping on the internal phone)
Today, on you way home we suggest you stop at the many interesting places you took note of on your journey to Chillagoe

INCLUSIONS:- Accommodation, Continental Breakfast, 2 Course Meal with complimentary drink each evening, Outer Town Tour and tickets to all 3 Ranger guided Cave Tours. All you need to look out for is lunch daily.
There are 2 Hotels, Grocery Store and a Take Away shop with walking distance of our Guesthouse.

EXCLUSIONS:- Daily lunches & drinks other than complimentary.
Single Room Supplement please add $110 per single room requested.
